A WORLD-WIDE NUMISMATIC SOCIETY REDISCOVERING THE ENDURING LEGACY OF REFORMATION COINS & MEDALS
The mission of the International Association of Reformation Coins and Medals (IARCM-IGMMR) is the advancement of the study of Reformation numismatics around the world. For example, the IARCM is now making plans worldwide to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Presentation of the Augsburg Confession (June 25, 2030) as it brings together a talented and dedicated group of collectors and dealers specializing in Reformation coins and medals, as well as museums with Reformation coin collections or museums desiring to exhibit Reformation numismatica. The IARCM is also dedicated to encouraging Reformation historians and numismatic researchers by providing important online reference materials.

The Excitement Continues
In the Lutherdekade leading up to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in 2017 the IARCM promoted the rediscovery of Martin Luther and the Reformation by promoting museum exhibits, journal articles, and publications in Germany and the United States. Now, anticipation is already building in the numismatic community in preparation for the 500th anniversary of the Presentation of the Augsburg Confession..
